Tropical Storm Isaias
Tropical Storm Isaias has not re-strengthened much yet, thankfully. It is still moving slowly along the Florida Coast, just offshore. Because of wind shear and dry air impacting the storm from the west, most of the rain is on the east side, away from the Florida Coast. Bands will still impact the coast throughout the day, however.
Here is a nice explainer from the lab where I work on what "wind shear" is, if you are curious:

Forecast for Isaias

Isaias is forecast to move along the East Coast. It may strengthen some before impacting the Carolinas, but wind shear and dry air will continue to be an issue for it. However, heavy rain is possible over much of the Carolinas, mid Atlantic, and New England in association with the system, so be alert for that!
